how do u applies the same effect to multiple waves?

i'm using cool edit and wanting to add a chain of effect to multiple wave in multi track mode, haven't figure out how to do this but adding 5 effect to a single file manually for 10 files or so is a pain thanks, this might be in the manual but after skiming through it i couldn't find it, so plz help me out, thanks.

Create a bus and apply the effects to that. Search the manual for "bus" for the procedure - if stuck, tell us at what point.
