View my effects

thanks again for the 101 on the edit view...

so i have a junk session that i try new stuff with--learn by experience--and i was just wondering if there was a way to view where i put my effects on each track/wav file. for instance:

delay is at 10 seconds thru 35 seconds
distortion is at 1 minute and 10 seconds thru 3 minutes 10 seconds
etc.

having many to add i can see where things may be forgotten and or confused.

thanks

jason

Any change in edit view is destructive (apart from 'undo' which is fine until you close the session). There's also no way to tell what you have done and where.

The proper procedure is to apply the effects in multitrack view (the so-called real time effects facility) and if you want to have different effects at different times, have the different sections on different tracks. This way you can see what you've done, and change it if you want later. Your original material will stay exactly as you recorded it.
