YAMAHA Motif 7 VS ES 7

Ok. I know the OBVIOUS difference being the price. MOTIF 7 is going for $1500 whereas ES 7 is somewhere around $2500. I'm on a budget so MOTIF 7 is probbaly what i am going for. But what is the true difference between the two? Is ES 7 just an upgraded version of MOTIF 7 ? Does that mean ES has basically everything MOTIF has to offer? Should I just wait for ES to drop their price or should I go ahead and buy the MOTIF now? WHat is your opinion about it?

ps I have had YAMAHA P200 for about 2-3 years. I'm thinking about selling this... if anyone's interested, let me know. Willing to negotiate

I've got the rack version and I like it a lot, but I have been very impressed with the ES versions I've played.

They have double the polyphony and twice as many voices. The waveform ROM is 175MB on the ES!! Sampling has been beefed up considerably as well. Arpeggiator is a big upgrade as well with 1787 types now! That's the one thing I really like about the ES. It can create a lot of realistic guitar and other instrument sounds with the advanced arpeggiator. The sequencer capacity has been doubled as well.

Compare the specs-

MOTIF

MOTIF ES

Nearly everything has been upgraded in the ES.

I think they both sound great!
