saw him tonite at a G&L clinic in Shelby, North Carolina (Shelby Music Center) anyhoo he was very down to earth and personable oh and he ripped the hound outta that Asat ...bought one of his first cd's and one with backing tracks... he plays with a stealth slide it was cool how he incorporated it sliding down or up the neck to the next lick....he has a new fan here very rockin country type stuff with some jazzy side stuff

Will Ray is a great guitarist. He actually posts from time to time at the G&L Guitarsbyleo site. That site still uses the prehistoric bulletin board system unfortunately.

I just bought a used Tascam 244 off Will Ray, about 2 weeks ago, in person. We met & talked studio stuff for a short while, before I departed. He lives in Burbank, owns his own studio and sold me his fixer 244 for a real deal. I had a few questions for him about the studio business, in general. I didn't have a clue who he was, until I searched his name on the internet, later that day. I was pretty impressed! Does that make my 244 fixer a Will Ray collectible??

Anyway, for the record, he's a very nice man.

yeah i've not been to too many clinics before but it was more like a bunch of friends sitting around with one guy playing guitar ...my question was "what was your last EBAY purchase" for those that don't know in Guitar Player he has a small column about how he buys things off ebay and and usually he'll tell about the guitar or equipment that he bought and things in general to look out for ....it's one of the main reasons i buy that mag
