I'm impressed with the mic. It's got a natural response with some bite in the upper mids. Has turned out to be a great drum room mic, good acoustic mic, percussion mic, and can be great on the right vocalist (no mic is 100% perfect on every vocalist).

Oh and the Baby Bottle looks cool too...

The Baby Bottle is an excellent acoustic instrument mic. I don't like it on vocals, but some do. Place the mic on acoustic guitar directly centered over the 13th fret, like it was a camera looking thru the sound hole at the back of the guitar and you get a fantastic sound. Raise it up two inches to pick up more lows, drop it down two inches to add more highs. It is also good on violin and mandolin. It really tames a harsh violin. I've also used it on dobro with good results. This mic is well worth the money.

I really like it on some vocals. Especially backing vocals that don't benefit from sweetening deviations in the frequency response curve.

It kills on amps.

I've got one waiting on me when I get back home tonight. Can't wait to try it out this weekend. I bought it mainly for acoustic guitar, but the one we tried out seemed to agree with my partner's voice. Seemed to be a pretty versitle mic which is why we splurged and got the BBB.

PS. I ordered mine from FrontEndAudio and they are top notch. No problems, no hassles. Recommended.
