dat problem
i bought a dat recorder (fostex d-5) a few months back and it's just been sitting around until recently when i bought a mixer (behringer MX1604 A). so i hook them up, and i can only record one track. what's the deal? are dat's only for 2-track mastering only or what? if this is indeed the problem what do you recommend recording to? (other than pc) thanks.

DATs are only 2-track machines, not multitrack machines. They're intended to record a left/right stereo signal.
