radium touch sensitve?? anyone know?

does anyone out there know if the radium 'boards have velocity sensitivity???


figured someone must have one, and should know...

anyway, I would get one if it had that, otherwise I am thinking of getting the keystation model, so inexpensive, and has the right velocity sensors ....thks

Yes, the Radium family is velocity sensitive. It's assumed that all modern midi master keyboards have velocity sensitivity --- that's why they don't make a big deal out it...

it is but the response is not all that smooth.. the keystation probably responds better with the semi weighted keys.

yeah i think that i can deal with not such smooth response since it is so cheap and has several sliders and knobs.....

I dunno, I may still get the keystation for the semiweighted keys though.... I need to think how important the sliders are to me.

You REALLY need to play both of them.

I haven't tried the Keystations other than the new Pro 88 which is a full hammer action and is, for the money, the best deal around right now.

Whether you need the controllers all depends on what you want to do with it. If you're using it to play softsynths then you'll certainly appreciate having all those knobs and sliders!

I think that i will use the sliders a lot...

I am gonna use it mostly for soft synths and drum loop creation.

My friend told me that the unweighted keys might be better for what I want since rolls and quick response are not the forte of weighted keys.

anyway, long story short i ordered the radium 49.

Looking forward to getting it set up and having some fun with flstudio, and trying to set it up for use with some of the screens in nuendo.
