Buss into a buss.....

I'm still using cool edit pro, not up to audition yet. Is there a way to have one buss be fed "into" another buss? For example, you have all the drum tracks feeding a compressor plug in through buss a, now you want to have all the tracks......inluding the drum tracks, feed a reverb. Or is there another way to go about this....without mixing down, that is. Thanks.

PS also, is there a way to "lock" effects which are running via buss?

Okay, not ever having done either of these things myself, allow me to take a guess lol.

1 Just add the reverb you want to the effects you're running on the existing bus.

2 I thought you could lock the effects on any track, whether it's a bus or not.

I should have clarified: without adding any more plug ins. Trying to conserve memory here.......runnig A LOT of tracks

2. I don't think you can lock effects on a buss. I'll do some more extensive looking tonight, but I don't think that's in the Buss mixers features.

You may need to mix down some tracks to a new track, mute the original tracks, then add further processing to the new track.
