My wave files look and sound different. The sound comes about 1 second before it should according to what the wave looks like. How can I fix this??? I can't really do anything when it's like this... Thanks.

Is it the same problem as I had where the cursor doesn't move fast enough & is always in the wrong place on the waveform? : (http://homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=129187)
I haven't found a solution yet - I've tried turning off virus software/firewall, and changing graphics card acceleration settings, but the problem persists. It's very irritating! |

I had something similar that proved to be the software supplied with my new USB "keeping track" of what was going on. When I uninstalled the software, the problem ended. In other words, you have a background program that's interfering with the running of CEP and perhaps you are lacking in RAM as well.

What you are experiencing is called "Latency". Closing programs and freeing up your resources before recording will definitly help everything run smoother.
