i think cool edit supports most DX plugins doesn'tit? just do a searc for DX plugin on yahoo. Better yet, i'm pretty sure cakewalk sells independant DX plug ins. The autotune plug in that works well in Cool Edit is Antares. I think there is a new version coming out or it just came out. Its not cheap though and takes some practice to get good at using it manually. There is an auto feature but it is kindof lame for specific purposes.

Talking

Auto-tune only works with single notes. I have a copy of Antares v3 DX, and for vocals it works great but if there's anything else it can't read it correctly.

And you can't Auto-tune the whole bleedin' band! Make them play in tune. I guarantee it CAN BE DONE.

Antares provides a free trial on their website. After that it's $300.

An autotune-like effect is built in to Audition 1.5 but you can't use it in any other version. Try the free download of AA 1.5 maybe.
