input monitoring

Hello,

I was just wondering if Cool Edit/Adobe Audition has an input monitoring feature so I can hear what I'm recording along with what's already recorded. I've just lived without the feature but would like to know if the program is capable as some people I'm recording with now are a little more picky than me. Thanks

yes it is...I THINK you can right click on the monitor and adjust that setting.

You can but it has to be a feature in your soundcard mixter not CEP to my understanding.

You have to have a full duplex system so you can listen to the recorded tracks while you are recording the new ones. I think most current devices will do this. There is no way to monitor within Cool Edit Pro.

Have you tried recording in the multi-tracking window?


You should be able to hear what your recording along with since is RT (Real Time) based recording.
