Smile Evolution MK-461C ?

Does anyone have extensive experience using this midi keyboard?

It seems like a good buy for a 61-key keyboard, but I haven't heard much regarding user reviews, and would like to get some opinions before I make the purchase

Any help would be great! :P

I have the 49 key version (249-C)

yes yes yes!!! buy it now...it's a bargain and a steal for what it is. Built like a brick with sturdy keys and a USB port..plus programmable knobs!!, you can't go wrong. It's my number one midi controller dude.

are there any drawbacks to this keyboard?

are the midi knobs rubber or plastic? do they feel cheap? [not the keyboard itself, but the controller knobs]

I really wanted to like this keyboard because it had a better set of MIDI controllers, but I didn't like the action at all. Very spongey and cheap feeling to me. Everyone is different I suppose.

I wound up getting the M-Audio Radium 61 instead. I'm not thrilled with its action either, but it's better, IMO, than the Evolution. It doesn't have the best interface, but it works ok.
