how do i convert a quicktime movie to AVI?

how do i convert a quicktime movie to AVI? i have lil movies i've taken on my Kodak i want to convert to AVI so the file will be smaller for uploads.

i have a 14.2 meg quicktime movie i converted to a wav file 175 megs! ouch,tooo much

any proggies out there? i tried the radvideo one and it ain't working. thx,jw

hmm. i'm not going to waste any more time on this since this is the homerecording.com forum and not the homeVIDEO forum, but i betcha if you go to this one site called "google" and try "quicktime conversion" or "quicktime file conversion," with a little luck one of the nearly 4,285,199,774 web sites in existence today might just help ya
