Fostex E-8 Trouble

Hi... I am new at this game and I am not sure how to go about asking things so, I'll just go right ahead and ask. Please excuse me if I break any rules by doing this. I have a Fostex model E-8 reel to reel 8 track machine. The problem is I am having trouble finding a good compatible mixer. From what I understand fostex mixers are the only ones which have the RCA inputs and outputs so, thats what I need. Is there anyone, in the Toronto area who is interested in selling one. As well does anyone have an idea where I can get a manuel for my E-8. Thanks a lot.

The Guitarist.

From Toronto, eh?

Me too!

Actually, TASCAM too, made tons of recording mixers that have RCA jack connectivity and because of their greater popularity, you may find it easier to find one of those instead of a Fostex?

You could try Tele-Tech in Markham at 905 475-5646

They're located at;

211 Telson Road,
Markham, ON
L3R 1E7

They have a huge selection of quality used gear and are nice guys to deal with.

Cheers!

Rca jacks are great but you do not have to have a mixer that has Rca jacks on it. It can be 1/4 inch also. You just need to buy the correct cords for your set up.
