"formula sound" mixer
yesterday i was given a loan of an ex-instalation "formula sound pm-80" mixer.. i haven't tested it sonically yet, but i did pull it apart (it has modules). i noticed that the preamp modules each had its own transformer, about an 1" in diamiter and 3/4" high (made in england "sowter" trans), and the over all build quality is pretty good, TI ic's, alps faders and switchcraft connecters... its obviously not designed for studio apps, but they are some pretty solid looking pres.
anyone know anything about these suckers?
