what mic to buy next

I'm looking to purchase another mic to compliment my sm57. I'm looking to spend around $130. I usually record vocals, guitar, bass, saxophone, and trumpet. What would a good mic be to go along with my sm57. Thanks!

Do you have phantom capability?

If so, I bought a great AT condenser off ebay for around $150. The big brother of the AT3030 whch is a great budget mic

I've always thought that once one gets used to playing around with an SM-57 for a bit, a good next step is to pick up a couple of small diaphragm condensers to use on instruments and percussion. Experiment a little with some stereo mic'ing and what not.

Get a couple Oktava MK-012's or some Marshall MXL 603's. That should keep you amused for a while.
