10 Newbiest Newbie MOTIF Questions

1. Can you save edited voices or songs to the motif w/o a smart card or scsi drive w/o overwriting anything?

2. can the breath controller function be used in real time (like durring a live show) or is it more for recording purposes?

3. how do you split the keyboard in to two (or 3) halfs so that you can play seperate instruments at the same time? I've been tryin but it was too confusing

4. i've been tryin believe me I have but how do you change the assignable knobs for instrument? the asa,b,1,2 knobs

5. how do you create your own voices?

6. would i be correct in sayin master keyboard mode is used basically to organize a lot of things and save it for easy access?

7. how many voices can you store in favorites and is there a way to organize your favorites into sub catagories? like select a folder (the name of the song) which opens up the voices that will be used for the song. I have almost 20 favorites.

8. what's the best 2 ways of recording a beat you made out into a computer hard drive. I have Sonic Foundry Acid Pro but what are the best ways of connecting?

9. can i sample if i dont have a smart card or scsi?

10. I'm really thinkin about gettin the vocal harmony board...does anyone know if it can be used durring a live show?

I'm a NEWBIE NEWBIE NEWBIE with this Motif. the last keyboard I had was the Yamaha DJX, I sure would appreciate anyones help as well as any additional general tips!
