Hi, I've got a Motif7 two years ago approximately and I still think it's the best keyboard ever. You can use the USER bank to store the sounds you create but for sequencing and sampling data you'll need the smart media which is very secure. I've got a 64mb SmarMedia and added 64mb of sample memory. Before the Motif7 I had an E-MU E4K and loved it but even though I miss some of it internal sounds I like Motif a lot better.
