Angry XP80 Problem!!!- with cubase - chaos in display

Hi folks,
since a view days i face the prob, that my Roland XP-80 with two expansion boards shows chaotic signs on its display, when receiving midi information.

I dont know, which midi information brings my synth to death ;-(((
There is no error message for that in the manual.
When the xP8o shows the chaotic display (looks like: 1000 of chaotic pixels) the maschine is out of control and doesnt work anymore. So i have to reboot the maschine.
I recognized, that the powersupply in the XP80 gets warmer than normal.
But this behavior only came up during connection to Cubase.
Could this be the prob??

Please help....

Do you have the input and the output hooked up to the keyboard? If so, setting the 'local' to off breaks the connection between the keyboard and the sounds inside and will kill what sounds to me like a midi loop.
