Is the CLX 440 as awesome as the 3630?
Just kidding about the title. But I couldn't find anything on here about the CLX 440. Musician's Friend has them on sale for pretty cheap and I was just wondering if anybody had checked these out or if the words "Alesis" and "compressor" should never be spoken in the same sentence after all of their crappy attempts.
I'm (ahem) looking to replace my (err....) 3630. (dodging bullets...) |

Well yeah, I knew about those. Oh well, just curious. I can't really blame anybody for not trying that Alesis, considering what they tend to do to compression...

We have a winner folks! It took 104 views to get there, but somebody was finally able to discover the bleeding obvious irony in the title of the thread!
Ah hell, sorry, couldn't resist... |

So what's the problem with the 3630? I've never used one. I have used the nancompressor, which seemed o.k. But maybe I don't know enough about compressors. Please enlghten me.
