Question KRK RP8 vs. M-audio BX8

Hi everyone, this is my very first post here.
I'm about to get a pair of monitors and I'd like to know if someone could help between KRK RP8 and M-audio BX8. So far I'd go for the BX8 but as I live in South America I must wait for about a month for them to get here and they do have the KRKs at the store. So if someone has already tried both and help to understand about their differences that would be awesome.
Take care you all

I have a pair of the KRK RP8s and love them. They are very true monitors. They give a nice image and are flat +/-1db. There are alot better than the BX8s. KRK does one thing and thats make monitors and they do it very well. So go get the RP8s. If you want to save somey look at the Wharfedale 8.2a.

I'm with deepwater....

Last week I took a mix I had been working on into several stores to audition monitors. The BX8's were ok, but I kept hearing nasal stuff around 1.2-1.6 that knew wasn't there. Put the same mix on the RP8's and everything sounded like I knew it should. Nice imaging, very smooth, with a clear bottom end. Not too hyped on the highs. Natural-sounding mids. Not fatiguing at all. Lots of power if you are into that. Also tried some Fostex and Events in the same price range and those couldn't touch the RP8's. Go buy them at the store so you can have them now, and be confident in the fact that you made the right choice....I bought them and have been living with them all day every day since and they are wonderful boxes IMHO.

Smile Frequency Range

Guys, thank you very much for replying.
I'l like to know if you guys noticed that on the specifications of both models it says the BX8 has a larger Frequency Range, it says it goes from 37Hz low, is this true? I've been reading a lot and seen that people love KRK RP8's low end. I'm already about to get KRK's.
Take care.
