A problem with exporting

Hi there folks, I´m new to this board as well as Cubase so I´m pretty much a wanker all around

So I am having a problem with exporting what i´ve recorded to a mp3 file or a wav. The Program only generates a 5 second clip of all the stuff which is quite disapointing since I can´t show off my amazing talents to my friends

any advice greatly appreciated !

Welcome Casio.

On audio export Cubase just does the stuff between the Left and Right locators. I got caught out by this the first time (I thought "bloody hell, that's a fast render process" and got a completely empty file). This might be the answer - you can set the locators in the transport control.

Of course you might already know this and need a much cleverer reply, in which case you'll need somebody else to come along On the other hand if it's the right answer please feel free to cuddle my penguins.
