Cool recording and mixing down tips

hey what up every1!!!

I want to get the most out of my vocals (recording them and mixig them) i want a warm live stereo sound from a rap artist . if you can give me tips effects or techniques to achieve a good sounding acapella . (reverbs filters noise gate compressors) if you use them and what they do? a brief explanaiton will be apreciated.

here is what i have : a Behringer mixer connected to my pc (fast pc) with a soundblaster live 5.1 sound card and a oktava mk319 condenser mic.

I'am using adobe audition . should i reocord the vocals at 16bit or 32? should i mixdown all da tracks to a final one of 32 bits?

please give me some tips on all setting bits effects etc!
thanx every 1
