Alesis QS6.1

I wonder if someone can help me configure my Alesis QS6.1 so that I can get midi signal from it to my pc, which is equipped with a Cakewalk sequencer...I am using an Opcode translator interface and have failed in my various attempts to record the alesis sound .....thans in advance

I have never been able to get my QS8 to communicate with my pc so I went back to my old mac which never had a problem??

I just gave up on the pc, and for midi you don't need much, so the old mac would do.

I know this doesn't help any, but what the hey.
