Hi,
I have reverb problems #1. If I use reverb in the tracks ,Guitars ,vocals.etch trks 1 to 8 , can or do I use more reverd when I mix down. #2 Is it better to like have a hall reverb on guitars, mandolin and a room type reverb on vocals. #3 Then there's tone , delay time,? Man I could use a helping hand.thanks Kevin |

I don't think any of us can really help you without being there with you while you're mixing.
Seriously, at some point in time, you're going to have to learn on your own through experimentation and develop your ear. This might be a good time to start. |

Don't get stuck on just reverbs, try a delay alone with a bit of feedback too. Sometimes this can simulate a room setting better (especially a small room) than a 'verb. Also try patching in an EQ in the aux send when going to a 'verb or delay, as well as a compressor (and maybe gate) pre or post effect. Lots of stuff to play around with, even not using an effect all all but re-feeding stuff to a real room and recording that on a separate track.
