vegas edl.

Does anyone knows how to repair the edl file for vegas 1.0b. I was working on a project, I did many saves, after I click save icon I started to do some more editing then vegas disappear off the screen. When I started vegas again and try loading the file I was working on, I get a statement saying "having trouble opening becauseofyou2.veg." The edl file as information in it. I was wondering if I could manually edit the file to repair it.

I know I can just go and load back all the audio recordings and reposition them, but that would that a lot of time, and it would be better to just re-record the project.

Any help would be really appreciated.
