Recording Results. ( Birch/Mahogany mix )

Has anyone recorded using a Birch/Mahogany mixture kit ?

is it worth spending extra cash to get a all birch kit ?

Thanks in advance.

birch is cool

Birch will give you a lot of attack and volume. (think early '90s thunder toms) Maple gives you a softer attack but more warmth and impact. I dont know about mahogany
