Blue Bear, help, another stupid adat question

I have the XT16 model and an elco connector enabling me to record at +4DB.
I want to buy another adat for a total of 16 tracks.
Would I consider an LX model since it cannot record signals at +4DB?

You're going to find it awfully inconvenient mixing gain stages that way.... good news is though, you can get the XT20s used fairly inexpensively too, which would give you ELCO at +4dBu!
