TDK Problems

I use a Denon DN-M1050R broadcast MD and a DN-M2300 twin semi-pro machine in a broadcast production studio. I have been having problems using TDK "Coloured" discs (they come in mixed packs of red, green, yellow). Both machines give error codes during recording and sometimes stall during playback. I used to used TDK MX-G discs and rarely had a problem. Unfortunately my local stockist only keeps these cheaper discs. Has anybody else had problems with this brand / type? Or any suggestion as to which are the best to use if I can't get the MX-G's?

For pro use, try the HHB discs. I have had zero problems and they CLAIM to be designed for pro applications (lower BER, etc.)
