Pickups for a Charvel Mod 1A??

Please help me decide what I should drop in a Charvel Model 1A I just purchased. I am converting to dual humbucker setup rather than the 3 single coils. I may even go 1 humbucker and volume knob, simple setup.

I like the sound of bands like Rob Zombie, Slipknot, Metallica etc. Have had EMG's in the past and thought they sounded a little sterile.

I like the sound of Seymour Duncan's.. My first thought was single Invader with one volume knob.

Let me know what you think would be a good combo....
