Question for Uli_the_Grasso
I have a TASCAM MS-16 and am having problems with a couple of intermittent channels.
I have tried swapping cards with known working cards and am still having problems. I suspect there is a problem on the motherboard that they are connected to in the amp unit. Have you seen this problem before? Cheers! ![]() |

I would still think it is the FETs or relaises. They remember, age with time and also like to gamble.
I do not know the MS-16, but I guess that the mainboard is just copper wires and plugs, while all audio electronics is on the cards. |

You mean the FETs on the individual channel cards?
From the schematics of the main board there seems to be more then just wire and plugs? I see a number of relays on that board too? |

But not for the audio signals, or am I wrong? You can send a scan of the circuit plan to grasso789@cutthisoutversanet.de (cut cutthisout out), even if the file is several MBs in size.
