Jacket & Additional Information....

I have yet to receive Jacket information from the following people:

I think Ed might have yours Doc. As for the rest of you I need as much of the following as you can provide. This information will be in the jacket (or insert) of the CD that your song is on.

And now we come to the part that everyone seems to hate....the personal information to be included in the "enhanced data" section of the CD. This can literally be ANYTHING. You can stick a picture of you and Brad's mom, an extra little soundclip, a story about cheese, a description of your studio, a writeup about your song, lyrics, biographical information, whatever...

Think about it like this: people will get the CD, stick in in their little drives, and start browsing artist information. What do you want them to read and see in regards to you? A reiteration of the jacket information???? You DAMN SLACKER. Who the hell are you? Just another nameless loser?

As it's going right now, fuck it. Nobody's giving me squat. Here's the list of people I'd like to see more information from:

That's a long list guys. If you can't scan pictures, you can mail some to me and I'll scan em for ya...and even send them back to you. If you don't have any pictures...try to get some this week if you can. At least try to write something!!

I've told people in the past to post this material on a site like juston but screw it...just email it all to hr_comp_cd@hotmail.com ... as long as the email is under 1MB I'll get it.

I can accept HTML, images, raw text, and MS Word 2000 (and prior) documents.

A web page will work, right? I guess I am a little confused. I mean, I can direct you to a web page that I created (using some stupid on line interface, because I don't know HTML)and you would be able to copy the source HTML, right? Or am I a lame ass?

What is the format for pictures? I am guessing JPEG at 300 dpi @ 640X480 will work. Let me know if this is wrong... How many images of this size can we submit? Be advised of my new email address:

I can work with just about any image format but I will be converting to jpeg in the end. Since this is onscreen info, 72dpi is fine...any size will work, but note that I might scale it down if it's too big for the layout. But if I do that, I'll make the smaller version a thumbnail that can be enlarged to view your original image.

So whatever you want.
