Pearl Cymbals?

Hey guys,
I'm new to the board and I was wondering about Pearl cymbals. Does the quality of the cymbals match up to the drums? I have a vintage Rogers XP-8 set from the late 70's with 30 year old Zildjian ride and hi hats. Would a pearl crash be a bad add on to this set? Thanks much, Derek

Pearl Cymbals are low quality cymbals packaged with lower line drums (like the Forum series). I would place the quality lower than a ZBT or a B8

Yeh, some of the Pearl cymbals that i've played on have been pretty low quality, they've made me wonder if they're just made as a substitute for a cymbal until you've got the money to buy somthing decent!!!

Pearl cymbals are'nt.


Pearl...the best reason to stick to making one thing.
