Teac A-1200 HELP!!!
Hey,
I just got a Teac A-1200 reel to reel today and ive cleaned it up wuite a bit but when the tape starts to go it makes a sqweaking sound like there it isnt oil or something on the heads or something. This has happened on my Stellavox before but i dont know whats makeing that happen. Does anyone know what i should do?! and does anyone know where i can download user manuals for free online. Thanks

Arrow It's usually the tape that makes this type of noise.
Replace the tape with brand new tape. Clean the heads, rollers and tape path guides.

There are no free downloads for this manual.

Your best bet is to call Tascam Parts, to purchase a copy of the manual, at (323) 727-4840.
