Mini disk "blank disk"

Hey people i have a question and i hope some1 can help here goes... i have had a sony net md for over two years with no problems but just a few weeks ago it started to go haywire. When i record a song via openmg jukebox onto the player(it records ok) when i go to play it the display say's blank disk!
i have no idea what to do can anyone help please?

Do you have a head cleaner? I was having trouble with my Sony MXD-D3. I bought a mini disc head cleaner at B&H Photo-Video. The problem disappeared after the cleaning.

I have a Sony Net MD MZ-N1 , i just tried a new battery but still nothing.any clues?

no help, but i have the same problem after reloading the software for about the tenth time. after 2 years of nothing but hassle with openmg i am dumping it and getting an mp3 player. My md goes back to what i bought it for, recording concerts.
