Question Recording to CD

I have recently bought an MP3 player, & have just used the voice recording feature to interveiw a freind. We wanted it on CD, but when I plugged the MP3 player in, the recorded file was an ACT file. Can I convert this to MP3/WMA/WAV etc...? I just want to get this on CD. It's a classic. Thanks.
