If you want really good intellectual hip-hop (not gay rap), check out The Roots. They play their own instruments and are excellent lyricists.

I read it outloud at what I thought was a good rap tempo, and it lasted about 35 seconds. From the little I know about rap music, they are talking most of the time and there are very few "musical" interludes. That means you need 4-5 times as many words as you've got now.

Also, it didn't strike me as very rhythmic. But, like I said, I don't know much about rap music.
