home studio

Hey,
i have a tascam 388 and 22-2 to mix down to but, i have NOTHING else.
i know i need some moniters and an amp but don't know what kind. any tips? also what about effects unit (like comp). basically just build me a small home stuido on a smallish bugdet please.
