2 Questions on SR-16

how do i sample new drums onto my sr-16. i know u have to use the tape in/out but how does that work. Like if i was to get a cd of samples how could i sample some drums onto my sr-16.
and also how do i take the reverb effects out of my drums. i heard that u can do this somehow and i've been tryin to change that option but i cant even find it. thanx in advance.

You can't -- the SR-16 is not a sampler - it has no facility to store recorded audio. It has on-board samples, but other than that, it's a drum-oriented midi-sequencer. The Tape IN/OUT is for tape backup and restore of sequences (ie data storage, not audio...)

Many of the samples have doubles that are WET versions of the dry samples, so you create drum kits with the dry versions of the samples when you don't want any of the ambience.
