Whats the difference between the 2? Is the Beta 57A "better" on the snare and on guitar amps than the Sm57? Any opinions? Is it duller? Brighter?

Just look at the frequency response at http://www.shure.com and you will know.
As a snare or guitar mic I would prefer the Sm57.
