I am videotaping school board meetings. There's a lady who asks
questions from her seat in audience. She does it at every meeting. Her questions are good ones, and I want to pick up her voice, but its not loud at all. She will not go to a microphone to speak. - she says having a mic in front of her gives her stagefright! I am thinking about hanging a shotgun mic from a boom just off to the side of where she sits and about 8 feet in the air, pointing down at her area (she sits in same place every time). The floor is carpeted. My budget is about $400. Any suggestions? JimL |

Any Smith and Wesson would do... hehehe
![]() I don;t anything about shotgun mics, but how about the small lapel mics that would clip onto clothing... would that give her stage fright? |

I dont think that S&W makes shotguns but a Mossberg 500 would do nicely... Point it at her and tell her to speak up.
