Green Voicebox question

Was looking for a channel strip.

Coincidentally, I can choose between 2 Focusrite Green Voiceboxes (which I understand are better that the Platinum range stuff, but are second hand about the same price as the new products are).

One of the Voiceboxes is the MKI, the other one the MKII. The MKII is somewhat more expensive.

Does anyone know the difference between the two? Is the MKII worth more? (I searched the net, but couldn't find a clue).

Another question: I intend to use the strip also for direct electric guitar recording. Is the Voicebox suited for that?
