bunglebungle is on a distinguished road
Rnc Rnp

When you guys refer to RNC and RNP's are you *actually* refering to the FMR Audio units?

Are these any good? there seems to be a lot of talk about them on the internet and they seem very affordable

Yes, we are referring to the FMR Audio units.

They are both exceptional units for the price. I'd place them at the top of the consumer level tree.
But you'll rarely see them in a pro studio.

And how would you know? someone posted Steve Albini's studio and he has 4 RNC's. I'm pretty sure plenty of PRO studio's have RNC's they just aren't used on the "Money Tracks" like vocals or something...but anyway I have both RNP RNC and IMO you can't go wrong.

Well, I must clarify that that comment was directed mainly at the RNP.
But still, I've never seen an RNP or RNC in any pro studio I've been in. (except for one occasion where I saw a couple of RNC's in a "Studio C" that had all the lower end gear that they hire out for garage band demos) And why would they when they have access to Pendulums and the like.

Anyway, I'm certainly not bashing them. I'd be extremely happy to have a rack full
