Large diaphgrams for Overheads ..

ok.. Are they just as good as small diapgramamamas? i cant spell sorry. I heard about people using 2 AT 4033's for overheads. I like the mic and love it on my vocals...but i hate AT in General. They make moslty shit i think. What has anyone used for mics for overheads? Im not too fond of AKG either after using the c1000's but thats being too judgemental on a lower end mic. I was thinking of 2 NT-2's or AKG C3000's . Has anyone used these? Theyre about the price range im looking at. How about the NT-1's? Any reviews about how they sound for overheads would help. Oh yeah im using these for overheads because id rather make them more versatile for recording other stuff too. Vocals. Ambience. Acoustic. Lalal. Thanks

I've used C-3000's as overheads and thought it sounded very good. Definatly an improvement over C-1000's.

I suggest you do searches in the Microphone Forum for all those mics you've mentioned. There are plenty of opinions on all those mics here.
