M-audio Octane channel preamp question

I was looking into getting the M-audio Octane, 8 channel preamp on www.silicondirect.com. It looks like it would go great with the Delta 1010 and I can get it at a great price.

Does anyone know what kind of preamps the Octane has in it?

If I'm not mistaken, they're based on the DMP3. I haven't tried the Octane, but I'd bet it's a pretty strong unit.

Be sure to shop around, their Pro Audio prices are pretty high. 8th Street sells the Octane for $595.

Thumbs up I'm in Canada!

I ordered my octane from www.silicondirect.com because they are Canadian dollars. They also gave me free shipping!

Works out to be a bit cheaper after the free shipping. I just asked for it.
