GROOVE TUBES 5SC/SM mics?? any good?

Anybody have any input on the Groove Tubes 5sc or 5sm. These are the condenser mics before Alesis bought out the company. Would you choose these over the Audio Technica 4050 or the AKG 4000B???

I have an AM-52, which of course is after Alesis, and it's a fine mic. No experience with the earlier ones though.

Thanks for the reply. Have you ever used the AT 4050 or the AKG 4000B? How would you compare the groove tube?

I've used th AKG a lot. In my opinion, it's warmer than the GT but on acoustic guitar I prefer the GT. What I really like about the GT is it's a multi pattern (cardiod, omni,figure 8).
