MR-8/new computer

I love my MR-8 and N-Track.......now I seriously need a new computer, as mine hangs very easily (96 RAM and 433 mhz) Within reason people, what tower specs should I look for to be able to run about 16 channels plus effects? Also, I would like to use outboard as opposed to N-Track's effects- I have a TC Electronics G-Major Processor, will the compessor on that work well?

Go to Dell and check out the refrubished area. They have effectively new PCs at low prices and they work well. I paid aobut $250 for the last one I got (just the box, no monitor).
