Home Studio 2004 vs. n-track

Which program would be better to record my punk band?

Either Bus or Cab will bring you to school...

And what did you think you would get if you ask in Bus forum...

The point is, you need to know how do you want the program works for your punk band...

I mean you need to specify what do you mean "better". Believe me, both are killer software. They have each own advantage / dissadvantage. You must specify what do you want to do. How do you want to work. Do you use MIDI and/or looping. How much do you want to spend. How 's your setup now. PC config. etc. etc. Better tried their demo before buy either.

BTW, it's Cakewalk forum. You don't expect people here will vote for N-Track, do you?

My unbiased opinion is that HomeStudio 2004 will do the job better than any other program (except Sonar).
