roland u-8 studioware in cakewalk

i want to use the roland u-8 studioware design in cakewalk, but i have many problems. i tried programming the master on both ports, but i still plays, even when the master is all the way down. also the led lights don't light when the tracks is on in playback. little things, and then again maybe studioware is unnessecary, but it is nice for me. pleeeze help! thanks.

I've tried many times getting Studioware to work, and my conclusion is this: If you don't absolutely haveto use studioware, then don't...

It should work straight "out of the box", but if you have a slightly different setup, then you need to re-configure the studioware-panel yourself.
