Aligning VST midi notes to PRV

I am trying to align Battery kits to PRV (Piano Roll View) notes. I have a midi drum pattern which triggers the "wrong" hits in Battery and I want to change them. Battery's keyboard and the PRV keyboard don't seem to be able to be aligned. For example, in PRV, bass drum is assigned to key C3, in Battery it occupies C1, PRV snare is C3#, in Battery it is C1#. I can access the virtual mapping keyboard in Battery and change the items so they align with my midi controler....but the PRV keyboard doesn't ever seem to be able to change notes.

Also, is there a way of copying/cutting/pasting whole lines or sections of notes or midi patterns in PRV?

BTW, I am using HS2002....until Sunday when I get HS2004

If you are using General midi there shouldnt be a confusion in the keys and sounds that are mapped to, any other extra kits will create problems unless you trigger from the same synth. Record in GM , Transfer, and then change Kits.

If you use Drum Map you can change the MIDI notes of each piece of the kit, ie the kick, you could change from C3 to C1... check it out..

Porter, I don't think HS (at least not HS2002) can use Drum Maps.

HS2004 has "Drum Editing Grid with Pattern brush" according to the Cakey web site. Is that the same thing?
